Moremi Game Reserve entry fees
Fees are set in Botswana Pula (P) per person per day, and every day counts, including your departure day. Pay in cash at the gate, or in advance by card at the DWNP office in Maun. At roughly P13.5 to the US dollar, the non-resident entry fee works out around $20 a day.

The postponed revision would raise the non-resident fee to P500 (and the operator-client rate to P640). It is delayed, not cancelled, so check before you budget for 2027. Do not confuse Moremi's Category A rates with the lower Category B rates (P190 non-resident) quoted for Botswana's other parks; that mix-up is why you see P380 and P270 circulating for the same gate.

Honesty required here: the official tariff annexure covering vehicles is not published anywhere we can verify, and reported figures conflict. P75 per day for a foreign 4x4 is supported by two independent 2022 to 2025 reports, but treat it as a working figure and confirm at the gate. Vehicles must be under 5 tonnes to cross the wooden bridges.

All four public campsites inside Moremi are DWNP-owned but privately run, and none can be booked through DWNP. You pay the concessionaire's campsite rate plus park entry plus the vehicle fee. A valid campsite reservation is required to enter the park at all: availability opens about 12 months out, Xakanaxa and North Gate sell out 6 to 8 months ahead for June to October, and turning up unbooked does not work.

The national tariff lists prices for walking safaris and night drives, but DWNP does not permit either activity inside Moremi. The line items exist because the tariff covers all parks; do not read them as proof the activity is available here.
