The classic Khwai self-drive campsite, run by the Khwai Development Trust, the community body founded in 2000 that holds the leases over the land north of the river. This is the cleanest 'support local' booking in the entire Moremi area: the trust generated over P1.75 million in community revenue in a single quarter of 2024/25. Fair note: independent research has documented governance disputes and uneven benefit-sharing within the trust, so community benefit is real but not a perfect pass-through. No fences, no facilities, bring everything.

What the park charges on top
The rate above buys you a bed. Moremi Game Reserve charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside, and almost no booking site shows you that.

What the rate covers is not confirmed. We have not been able to check whether meals, drinks and activities are included here, so treat this figure as the bed alone until it is.
