Sango Safari Camp
Classic Meru tented camp · Khwai community concession (NG19), near Khwai village · Bush Ways Botswana
A drawing stands in because nobody has sent us a photograph of Sango Safari Camp yet. We only publish images we have permission for. Send us five and this page changes the same week.
A six-tent classic camp that delivers the Khwai experience, river frontage, day and night drives, leopard country, at roughly a third of the price of the corridor's famous names. Run by Bush Ways, a Maun-based operator founded in 1996. Its even cheaper sister, Khwai Guest House, offers thatched bungalows in the village itself from around $166 per person.
Why you'd pick it

What the park charges on top
The rate above buys you a bed. Moremi Game Reserve charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside, and almost no booking site shows you that.
- Park entryP270 for non-residents, roughly $20.
- $20per person, per day
- VehicleP75 a day for a foreign-registered vehicle, roughly $6.
- $6per vehicle, per day
Three nights means three days inside, so two adults sharing one vehicle pay $138 in park fees before anyone pays for a bed.
The full fee schedule for Moremi Game ReserveRates
From $435 pppn. Officially published rates $435 low to $760 high season, among the best value of any full-service camp in the Khwai area.
What the rate covers is not confirmed. We have not been able to check whether meals, drinks and activities are included here, so treat this figure as the bed alone until it is.
Indicative 2026 rates per person per night sharing, gathered July 2026 from operators' own rate sheets where published. Several operators (Kwando Safaris, Desert & Delta, Kwalate Safaris) publish no public rates at all; where that is the case we say 'on enquiry' rather than print a guess. Always confirm with the lodge, and check whether park fees are included.
