The concession camp most associated with wild dogs on the reserve's south-eastern boundary. Because Chitabe sits in a private concession rather than inside Moremi, guides can drive off-road on sightings and run night drives, which is exactly the flexibility the reserve's own rules remove. One of the most consistent predator camps in the Delta.

Is Chitabe good for families?
Chitabe has a minimum age of six and no dedicated family room; the sister camp Chitabe Lediba next door has two. Families needing an interconnecting unit, or travelling with children under six, are better matched to Chitabe Lediba or a private vehicle booked at Chitabe itself.
Can you self-drive to Chitabe?
No. Chitabe is fly-in only, reached by a light aircraft charter of about 30 minutes from Maun followed by a 40-minute vehicle transfer to camp. There is no public road access, so every guest arrives by air through the operator's own charter arrangements.
What does the rate at Chitabe include?
The camp's own page lists accommodation, all meals, twice-daily activities, park fees and laundry, plus local drinks except premium imported brands and champagne. Our records and the live site currently quote different nightly rates, so confirm the exact figure directly with the operator before booking.
Can you do night drives at Chitabe?
Yes. Chitabe sits in a private concession bordering Moremi rather than inside the reserve, and the operator's own page says night drives are allowed here, unlike much of the reserve itself, which improves the odds of finding leopard after dark.
Is Chitabe good for a honeymoon?
Chitabe's own page does not mention plunge pools, star beds or other romance-focused extras; every suite has a private shaded deck, but the emphasis is wildlife rather than couple add-ons. Guests wanting those features should check elsewhere in the area before booking a stay here.
