&Beyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge
Sculptural timber lodge · Chitabe/Sandibe concession, south-eastern edge of Moremi · &Beyond
A drawing stands in because nobody has sent us a photograph of &Beyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge yet. We only publish images we have permission for. Send us five and this page changes the same week.
An architectural statement lodge shaped like a curled pangolin, on the private concession it shares with Chitabe. The building gets the attention, but the game viewing on the Santantadibe floodplains holds its own, with full concession freedoms the reserve does not allow. &Beyond is a privately held South African group founded in 1991.
Why you'd pick it
- Pangolin-inspired architecture, one of the Delta's landmark buildings
- About 70 percent solar-powered with an on-site helicopter
- Off-road and night drives in a private concession

What the park charges on top
The rate above buys you a bed. Moremi Game Reserve charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside, and almost no booking site shows you that.
- Park entryP270 for non-residents, roughly $20.
- $20per person, per day
- VehicleP75 a day for a foreign-registered vehicle, roughly $6.
- $6per vehicle, per day
Three nights means three days inside, so two adults sharing one vehicle pay $138 in park fees before anyone pays for a bed.
The full fee schedule for Moremi Game ReserveRates
From $1,850 pppn. Published low-season rate $1,850; high season estimated $3,000 to $3,600, confirm with &Beyond. Sandibe Under Canvas, a three-tent satellite, opened March 2026.
What the rate covers is not confirmed. We have not been able to check whether meals, drinks and activities are included here, so treat this figure as the bed alone until it is.
Indicative 2026 rates per person per night sharing, gathered July 2026 from operators' own rate sheets where published. Several operators (Kwando Safaris, Desert & Delta, Kwalate Safaris) publish no public rates at all; where that is the case we say 'on enquiry' rather than print a guess. Always confirm with the lodge, and check whether park fees are included.
