Kwando Safaris describes itself as 100 percent citizen-owned, claiming Botswana's first all-Batswana-staffed camps and first female guide, tracker, pilot and CEO; those are the operator's own claims, but they are specific and long-standing.

Yes. The operator's own page confirms road transfers and self-drive are available from Maun, about three hours away, alongside fly-in access via the Santawani airstrip. This matches sister camp Mma Dinare next door, and is unusual for a Delta concession camp.
Can you do night drives at Rra Dinare?
Yes. The operator's own page confirms night drives, nature walks and mokoro on the Dinare Private Reserve, the concession Rra Dinare shares with Mma Dinare south-east of Moremi. These activities are not permitted inside the reserve itself.
Is Rra Dinare a community-owned camp?
Rra Dinare operates in partnership with the Sankuyo community, confirmed on the operator's own page, though that page does not repeat Kwando's wider citizen-owned company claim specifically for this camp. Ask the operator directly if community ownership detail matters to your decision.
