A drawing stands in because nobody has sent us a photograph of Chief's Camp yet. We only publish images we have permission for. Send us five and this page changes the same week.
Mombo's main rival on Chief's Island, built as pavilions rather than tents for guests who want walls and air conditioning with their wilderness. The same honest caveat applies: this is inside Moremi, so night drives and off-roading are not permitted despite the fly-in price. Operated by A&K Sanctuary, part of the A&K Travel Group.
Why you'd pick it
- Solid lodge luxury rather than canvas, unusual inside the reserve
- Chief's Island predator country shared with only a handful of camps
- Pool pavilions overlooking the floodplain
What the park charges on top
The rate above buys you a bed. Moremi Game Reserve charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside, and almost no booking site shows you that.
- Park entryP270 for non-residents, roughly $20.
- $20per person, per day
- VehicleP75 a day for a foreign-registered vehicle, roughly $6.
- $6per vehicle, per day
Three nights means three days inside, so two adults sharing one vehicle pay $138 in park fees before anyone pays for a bed.
The full fee schedule for Moremi Game ReserveRates
From $2,400 pppn. Third-party published rates run $2,400 low to $4,350 high season, fully inclusive. Rebranded from Sanctuary Retreats to A&K Sanctuary in 2025.
What the rate covers is not confirmed. We have not been able to check whether meals, drinks and activities are included here, so treat this figure as the bed alone until it is.
Indicative 2026 rates per person per night sharing, gathered July 2026 from operators' own rate sheets where published. Several operators (Kwando Safaris, Desert & Delta, Kwalate Safaris) publish no public rates at all; where that is the case we say 'on enquiry' rather than print a guess. Always confirm with the lodge, and check whether park fees are included.
