The predator viewing is extraordinary, but know the rules before you pay this much: Mombo sits inside Moremi, so there are no night drives and no off-road driving, whatever the price tag. Wilderness was founded in Botswana in 1983 and is now a privately held pan-African group.

The rate above buys you a bed. Moremi Game Reserve charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside. Here is what that adds up to.

Is Mombo good for families?
Mombo has one family suite of two adjoining tents sleeping up to four, but children under 13 are not allowed on shared game drives unless you book a private vehicle for your group. We found no published minimum age for staying at camp itself, so ask when you enquire.
Can you self-drive to Mombo?
No. Mombo is fly-in only, reached by light aircraft from Maun, with a helicopter transfer also available on request. There is no self-drive or public road option here, and the operator's page does not give a flight time, so confirm transfer details when you book.
Can you do night drives at Mombo?
Mombo sits inside Moremi Game Reserve, where park rules do not allow night drives or off-road driving, whatever the nightly rate. The operator's own marketing copy elsewhere on its site mentions night drives too, which conflicts with that rule, so ask directly before booking if after-dark drives matter to you.
What does the rate at Mombo include?
The operator's page lists accommodation, all meals, scheduled game drives or other activities, park fees, laundry and local drinks except premium imported brands and champagne. Published nightly rates differ between sources, so confirm the current figure directly with the operator before you book.
Is Mombo good for a honeymoon?
Yes. Each suite has its own plunge pool, an outdoor shower and panoramic windows, and the camp can arrange a private romantic dinner on request. It does not mention a star bed or private plunge deck beyond the suite's own veranda, so ask for specifics if those matter to you.
